Telangana: Rescue operations continue for 8 workers trapped in SLBC tunnel

Hyderabad, Feb 25 (UNI) The rescue operation to save eight people including two engineers and six laborers trapped in the Srisailam Left Bank Canal (SLBC) tunnel collapse at Domalapenta in Telangana’s Nagarkurnool district, continued for the fourth day on Tuesday with all efforts concentrated on reaching the final stretch of the tunnel.
More than 72 hours after a portion of the Srisailam Left Bank Canal (SLBC) tunnel caved in, the fate of eight peple was unknown.
Around 600 personnel from various disaster management agencies, including NDRF, SDRF alongside the Indian Army and Navy, continued their efforts to locate the missing people.
