TN: Spectator gored to death, 24 injured in Jallikattu event

Pudukottai (Tamil Nadu), Mar 23 (UNI) A spectator was gored to death and 24 others were injured during the annual ‘Jallikattu’ (taming of bulls) event held at Annavasal village in Pudukottai district of Tamil Nadu on Sunday.
Five of those injured are critical, hospital sources said.
Police said the deceased was identified as M.Muthu Adaikalam (55) of Rajagopalapuram in the district.
