Maha: Police constable dies, another seriously injured in road accident in Kolhapur

Kolhapur, Feb 24 (UNI) A police constable died on the spot and another woman police constable was seriously injured after a speeding tempo collided head-on with their scooter at Tirvade village on Gaganbavda road in the district on Monday.
According to police, a constable was proceeding to Bidree in Kagal tehsil of the district on a scooter with a woman constable to attend a function at the latter's native village.
At Tirvade village, a speeding tempo collided head-on with their two-wheeler, killing the rider (male constable) on the spot and causing serious injuries to the pillion rider (woman constable).
