Mumbai, Mar 3 (UNI) On first day of the budget session of Maharashtra Assembly on Monday, NCP (SP) MLA Jitendra Awhad reached the Vidhan Bhavan in shackles to his hands.
Speaking to media in the premises, he alleged that the freedom of expression is being attacked, saying that the voices of the opposition are being silenced by filing cases against its leaders.
"The Constitution has given us the right to freedom of expression," he said while protesting by wearing the shackles.
