Prior permission necessary for installing loud speakers at any place of worship in Maha: CM

Mumbai, Mar 11 (UNI) Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday made an announcement in the Maharashtra Assembly that it is mandatory to take prior permission from the police for installing loud- speakers at any place of worship in the state.
He said that permission should be taken for the loudspeakers at any place of worship, the loud- speakers should be turned off from 10 pm to 6 am.
He said that as per instructions of the court, noise level should not exceed the limit of 55 decibels in the morning and 45 decibels at night between 10 pm and 6 am.
