Mumbai, Feb 21 (UNI) Mumbai Police arrested two college students and seized drugs worth Rs 9.54 lakhs, officials said here on Friday.
According to details, the accused, identified as Vinit Singh, 19, and Shiven Parkar, 19, both students at a renowned college in Mumbai, were allegedly selling drugs concealed within modified steel water bottles. They allegedly sold the drugs using water bottles, creating a small compartment under the bottles to hide the drugs.
Based upon information, the police arrested them from the neighbouring Mira Road area, and a case has been registered against both under the NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act).
The accused were found in possession of a commercial quantity of drugs intended for sale.
The police seized 4.7 grams of MDMA ecstasy worth Rs 50,000, 73.9 grams of Hydro Ganja worth Rs 3.69 lakh, 45 grams of LSD paper worth Rs 2.25 lakh, and 62 LSD dot papers worth Rs 3.10 lakh.
