Mumbai, Mar 23 (UNI) Hemant Patil, national president of India Against Corruption, on Sunday accused the country's opposition parties of trying to stir up trouble regarding the reorganisation of the electoral college and alleged that these parties have adopted the path of sowing confusion among the countrymen and putting pressure on the government.
However, any decision will be taken impartially under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The countrymen have faith in Modi, said Patil,
DMK and other parties are afraid that after the delimitation of constituencies, the Lok Sabha seats in South India will decrease based on population. Selected parties in Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Odisha, West Bengal and Punjab are not against the delimitation of constituencies, but are demanding a fair delimitation. However, Patil expressed his regret that these political parties have forgotten that the decisions taken during the tenure of the current government are in the public interest and fair.
