Put Maha among top 5 in country in Swachh Bharat Mission: MoS

Mumbai, Apr 17 (UNI) Maharashtra Minister of State for Water Supply, Meghna Sakore-Bordikar,, said on Thursday that Swachh Bharat Mission being a heartfelt initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, efforts should be made to ensure that the state comes in top five in the country in this campaign.
Speaking at a review meeting of the Swachh Bharat Mission held at Nirmal Bhavan, she said that the
government is committed to effectively implementing cleanliness initiatives in the state and instilling the habit of cleanliness in the villages.
This campaign will be given more momentum in the coming days, she added and instructed every officer to complete the works in their respective fields in a planned manner and on time.
