Maha: Tuition teacher gets 3 yrs jail for sexually harassing minor girl student

Mumbai, Feb 19 (UNI) A special court under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act awarded three years sentence to a 56-year-old tuition teacher, Sanjay Ghadigaokar, who was found guilty of sexually harassing a girl student in 2020 when she was 13 years old.
Court also imposed a fine of Rs 20,000 on him.
As per the girl’s testimony, on February 22, 2020, she sat on the first bench and the teacher touched her thighs and then asked her if she liked his touch.
