Mumbai, Mar 19 (UNI) The Bombay High Court on Wednesday suspended the sentence awarded to ex-MLA Omprakash alias Bacchu Kadu, a leader of Prahar Janshakti Party, in connection with the 2017 case for allegedly abusing and attempting to hit the then Nashik Municipal Commissioner, Abhishek Krishna.
According to a lawyer, Kadu's party was in an alliance with the than Eknath Shinde-Devendra Fadnavis-led government in Maharashtra. He was booked in 2017 by the Sarkarwada police in Nashik on allegations that he had abused and attempted to hit Commissioner Krishna.
