DIAT Celebrates Raising Day, Honours Excellence in Defence Education and Innovation

Pune May 9 ( UNI) Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT) celebrated its raising day on Friday marking a significant milestone since its inception.
In 1967, the Institute was renamed as “Institute of Armament Technology (IAT) which moved to its present location at Girinagar, Pune.
DIAT felicitated faculty members who have completed15 years’ of servicInstitute Level Awards were also distributed in the category of Best Teacher, best PhD thesis, best supporting staff in Technical and Admin.
Dr. B. H. V. S. Narayana Murthy, Vice-Chancellor expressed his gratitude to DIAT fraternity in achieving extraordinary milestone despite all challenges and bringing laurels to DIAT through their dedication and hard work, said release. UNI SP SSP
