Mahayuti government committed to fulfilling election promise of Rs 2,100 for sisters: Maha Dy Speaker Gorhe

Sangli, Apr 19 (UNI) Deputy Speaker of the Maharashtra Legislative Council, Neelam Gorhe, said here today that the Mahayuti government is committed to fulfilling its commitment of giving Rs 2,100 subsidy to women in the state, amid criticism by the opposition of not fulfilling its election promise.
Addressing a large women gathering at Sangli, which received a huge response from the women workers, Gorhe said that the Shiv Sena Eknath Shinde group was committed to fostering respect for sisters, building the party organisational strength among women and a strong women's leadership.
Gorhe enlightened women about the various schemes of the Mahyuti government, especially the Ladki Bahin Samman Yojana. She appealed to the government to provide a list of banks supporting women's self-help groups.
