Maha: Congress pays tributes to Pahalgam terror attack victims

Mumbai, Apr 23 (UNI) The Maharashtra Congress observed a two-minute silence at the party headquarters here on Wednesday to pay tributes to the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack, followed by a march.
The march was held at Dadar in central Mumbai, strongly condemning the cowardly attack on innocent tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.
Hundreds of Congress workers participated in this march and raised slogans against Pakistan and pro India.
Later, talking to media persons, Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) president Harshvardhan Sapkal said that this was a Pakistan-sponsored terrorist attack and demanded that terrorism be permanently eradicated by taking strict action against terrorists who carried out Pahalgam attack on tourists.
He further said that the government should convene an all-party meeting and take a unanimous decision on the Pahalgam attack to send a strong message that no such terrorist attack will be tolerated in future, he added.
Sapkal made an appeal that in this difficult time, all Indians should come together and condemn this attack.
