Mumbai, Mar 31 (UNI) Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut claimed on Monday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi went to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) headquarters in Nagpur on Sunday to possibly discuss his plans of resignation from the PM's post, thus paving the way for his successor from Maharashtra.
His statement has given way to a lot of discussion in political circles.
Responding to this claim, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis strongly criticised Raut, saying that there is no reason to look for Modi's successor right now.
