Day temp appreciably above normal at few places over Odisha

Pune, Mar 5 (UNI) Day temperatures on Wednesday appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at a few places over Odisha.
At isolated places over coastal Karnataka; above normal (1.6°C to 3.0°C) at many places over Vidarbha and Telangana; at a few places over Konkan and Goa and coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam; at isolated places over east Uttar Pradesh, Saurashtra and Kutch, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Gangetic West Bengal, Bihar, Assam and Meghalaya, north interior Karnataka, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Mahe, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal. These were markedly below normal (-5.1°C or less) at isolated places over Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad; appreciably below normal (-3.1°C to -5.0°C) at isolated places over west Rajasthan; below normal (-3.0°C to -1.6°C) at isolated places over east Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh and near normal over rest parts of the country. Yesterday, the highest maximum temperature of 39.4°C was reported at Sholapur (Madhya Maharashtra) over the country.
Night temperatures were appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at isolated places over Bihar, Odisha and Madhya Maharashtra; above normal (1.6°C to 3.0°C) at a few places over coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam; at isolated places over Gangetic West Bengal, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Rayalaseema, interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal, Kerala and Mahe and Lakshadweep. These were markedly below normal (-5.1°C or less) at isolated places over east Rajasthan and west Madhya Pradesh; appreciably below normal (-3.1°C -5.0°C) at many places over west Rajasthan; at a few places over Haryana and Saurashtra and Kutch; at isolated places over Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh; below normal (-3.0°C to -1.6°C) at many places over Delhi; at isolated places over west Uttar Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh and near normal over rest parts of the country. Today, the lowest minimum temperature of 4.0°C is reported Fathepur (Rajasthan) over the plains of the country.
