Patna, Apr 4 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar directed the authorities concerned to accelerate the pace of construction of the Buddha Memorial stupa and museum in Vaishali.
After inspecting and reviewing the construction work on Friday, he directed the authorities to complete the construction within the stipulated period, keeping in mind the environmental conditions.
He said that the transportation facility was being improved for the comfortable journey of the tourists in Vaishali, which is a historical place related to Lord Buddha.
After the completion of the construction of the Stupa and Museum, it would attract more tourists both from India and abroad, he maintained.
The Chief Minister said that the historical aspects associated with Lord Buddha would be displayed in the museum.
Building Construction Department Secretary Kumar Ravi apprised the Chief Minister that the construction of the Museum and stupa would be completed within a month.
He also apprised the Chief Minister of the details of the facilities being made available for the visitors.
