Patna, May 1 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Thursday exhorted the labour force to rededicate itself for the development and prosperity of Bihar.

Kumar, while extending greetings on the occasion of Labour Day, said that importance of labour force was immense in running the engine of development and prosperity. Labourers were important parts of culture and society and they should be given due respect, he added.

" It is time for labour force to rededicate itself to the development and prosperity of Bihar ", Chief Minister said adding that labourers deserved kudos for their sustained contribution in development. His government had launched several schemes to protect interests of labourers, he added.
