Odisha launches a dedicated website for Odia Pakhya celebration

Bhubaneswar, Apr 3 (UNI) The Odisha government on Thursday launched a dedicated website https:// odiapakhya.com for Odia Pakhya, which is being celebrated across the state from April 1 to April 14.
For the first time, Odia Pakhya is being observed from April 1 to 14 to honor the rich cultural heritage and traditions of Odisha.
As part of this initiative, a dedicated website has been launched to provide comprehensive information about the celebrations.
The website offers details about Odia Pakhya, including a schedule of events organized by the state government during this period.
Additionally, an interactive quiz has been introduced, featuring questions related to the Odia language, literature, history, culture, and eminent personalities of Odisha.
Participants can take the quiz and download a digital certificate upon completion. The platform also encourages people to actively participate in block- and district-level celebrations.
Participants can also upload selfies showcasing their involvement in the Odia Pakhya celebration directly on the website.
Beyond being just a celebration, Odia Pakhya is a movement aimed at reigniting passion for Odia culture and inspiring people to take active steps in promoting their language, literature, heritage, and traditions.
By embracing and promoting Odia culture, this initiative ensures that people remain connected to the deep-rooted traditions that define Odisha’s unique cultural landscape.
