Bareilly (UP) Mar 22 (UNI) One labourer was killed and four others were injured when the wall of a brick kiln collapsed in the Mirganj area of Bareilly district in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday, an administration official said here.
Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Tripti Gupta said that Ramesh Gangwar, a resident of Dunka, has a brick kiln in Parora village under Mirganj police station. "At around nine in the morning, the brick wall collapsed in which five workers were buried under the debris," she said.
She said that one worker Chhote Lal (22) died in the incident and four others were injured. "Rajiv (25), who sustained serious injuries, has been admitted to the district hospital. Remaining three Nanhe (34), Israr (32) and Babbu (24) have been admitted to Community Health Centre Mirganj," she said.
On getting the information, SDM Tripti Gupta, CO Anjani Kumar Tiwari, SO Prayagraj Singh reached the spot. NDRF reached there and carried out relief work.
