Parameshwara denies rift amid reshuffle buzz

Tumakuru, Mar 31 (UNI) Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara on Monday dismissed speculation regarding a rift between Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar amid media reports of a potential cabinet reshuffle.
Speaking to reporters here, Parameshwara stated, "There is no rift in our party. The word about the cabinet reshuffle has not come yet. There is no rift; the high command is there, and they will take care of it."
These remarks come in response to recent media reports suggesting possible changes within the state cabinet. Shivakumar had earlier indicated the possibility of a cabinet reshuffle, noting that some ministers have been given a "message" about their term.
However, CM Siddaramaiah, last November, had refuted these claims, asserting that there will be no cabinet reshuffle at this time. In the same month, Parameshwara also hinted at potential changes within the party's leadership, mentioning discussions about a change in the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) presidency. He emphasised that such decisions rest with the Chief Minister and the party high command. UNI BDN SSP
