Prohibitory order issued in Beed district

Beed, Mar 21 (UNI) The authorities on Friday issued prohibitory words banning assembly of five or more people in Maharashtra's Beed district to prevent any breach of peace.
"There is a possibility of various types of demonstrations, hunger strikes, marches, on behalf of the political party organisation to demand justice for them," the district administration noted.
"The possibility of tension arising due to sudden incidents and minor reasons cannot be ruled out, and during this period, all the society and political parties are aggressive in demanding reservation.
"Accordingly, Prohibitory order upto April 2 has been issued by Additional District Magistrate Shivkumar Swamy to maintain law and order in the district on Friday," it said.
During this period in Beed district, a prohibitory order under Section 37 (1) (3) of the Maharashtra Police Act prohibits the assembly of any group of five or more persons in any movement like marches, demonstrations, agitations, sit-ins, etc. without permission.
Any person other than employees performing government duties is prohibited from doing the following in or near public places, the statement said.
"Under this, it is prohibited to carry weapons, sticks, sticks, swords, guns, lathis, sticks, any incendiary substances, or explosives, stones, or other projectiles, objects that may cause bodily harm. No pictures, signs, billboards or any other objects that may cause heated speeches, gestures, satirical imitation, decency, or which may endanger the security of the state, or which may cause anarchy, should be carried.
Public announcements, singing, playing musical instruments or any act which is against the values ​​of the Constitution of the country or is likely to harm the honor and sovereignty of the country or is likely to harm public safety and social harmony, display of persons or dead bodies or corpses or figures, or their images is prohibited. No gathering of five or more persons without permission, no procession or march shall be allowed.
Any march, meeting, procession and any similar activity shall require prior approval from the competent police officer of the area. UNI VKB XC SSP
