Rupee up 42 paise  against USD

Mumbai, Apr 15 (UNI) The Rupee on Tuesday advanced 42 paise at 85.64 in opening session against the US Dollar

on brisk selling of USD by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market informed.

The local unit rallied because of weak Dollar against other world currencies and

robust equity market in opening trade.

The Rupee recorded intra days high and low at 85.60 and 85.72 respectively, dealer added.

Pune, Apr 17 (UNI) Day temperatures were markedly above normal (5.1°C or more) at a few places over Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad and west Rajasthan; appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab and Saurashtra and Kutch.
