Mumbai, Mar 18 (UNI) The BSE Sensex on Tuesday rallied 602 pts at 74,711 in the opening session as buying was seen across the board amid a positive Asian market.
The National Stock Exchange (NSE) rose 187.05 pts at 22,695.80.
Advancing over 300 pts on Monday, the equity market was seen strong in early trade, as the Sensex registration intra days high and low at 74,776.98 and 74,480.15 pts respectively.
The Nifty registered a day's high and low at 22,703.40 and 22,599.20 pts, respectively.
The mid cap rose by 0.95 pc and small cap by 1.47 pc.
In 30 scrips, 28 advanced while 2 declined.
The gainers were ICICI Bank by 0.68 pc to Rs 1302.30, Zomato by 2.21 pc to Rs 208.35, Tata Motors by 1.38 pc to Rs 670 and M&M by 1.37 pc to Rs 2741.20.
The losers were Bajaj Finserv by 0.69 pc to Rs 1859 and Bajaj Finance by 0.30 pc to Rs 8554.30.
