Pratham was earlier selected for the post of assistant commandant in CISF through UPSC. But his goal was to become an IAS officer. Apart from being a meritorious student, Pratham has been actively participating in sports and co-curricular activities. He has attributed his success to his parents and teachers.
Pratham received his early education from Shivalik Public School, Sangla. He did his 10+2 non-medical studies from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Recangpio. After this, he obtained the degree of Bachelor of Arts in first class from Delhi University.
According to CPI(M) leader Dr Kuldeep Singh Tanwar, state's daughters are not far behind. "Ayushi, a resident of Bhadech panchayat of Junga tehsil of Kasumpati assembly constituency, has been selected in the Indian Revenue Service [IRS]. Heartiest congratulations and best wishes to Ayushi, her mother Sulakshana Thakur and father Madan Mohan Thakur."
Kamlesh was Ayushi's teacher in primary education. The motivation of her parents and family members took Ayushi from a region where the level of higher education was only 4 per cent about a decade and a half ago, to the prestigious achievement of All India Service.
This is not only a matter of pride for the entire region, but also an inspiration for hundreds of young people who aspire to achieve a big goal in their lives.
