Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty winds likely in AP & Yanam in next 3 days: Met

Amaravati, Apr 5 (UNI) Thunderstorm accompanied by lightning is likely to occur at isolated places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next three days, Meteorological Centre said on Saturday.
In a daily weather report here, it said that light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at a few places or at one or two places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next seven days.
Maximum temperatures are a gradual rise in temperatures by 2-4 degrees Celsius in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next five days.
The report further said, Friday’s cyclonic circulation over the south Andaman & neighbourhood now lies over the southeast Bay of Bengal & neighbourhood and extends up to 3.1 km above the mean sea level
A north-south trough runs from north Madhya Maharashtra to north Tamil Nadu across Interior Karnataka at 0.9 km above mean sea level.
Rainfall occurred at one or two places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, and Rayalaseema during the last 24 hours.
The highest maximum temperature of 37.9 degrees Celsius was recorded at Tirupati in Rayalaseema on Friday, the report added.
