Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty winds likely in Coastal AP & Yanam in next 5 days: Met

Amaravati, Mar 31 (UNI) Thunderstorm accompanied by lightning and gusty winds speed ranging from 30-40 kmph is likely to occur in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam during the next five days, Meteorological Center said on Monday.
In a daily weather report here, it said that the same situation is likely to prevail in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema from April 1 to 4.
Maximum temperatures are likely to fall by 2-3 degrees Celsius in Andhra Pradesh and Yanam during the next five days.
Light to moderate rain is likely to occur in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam during the next seven days and in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema from April 1 to 6.
Dry weather is likely to prevail in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next 24 hours.
The weather report also said that the trough from south Chhattisgarh to south Tamil Nadu now runs from south Chhattisgarh to Madhya Maharashtra across Vidarbha, above cyclonic circulation over Marathwada at 0.9 km above mean sea level.
A north-south trough runs from the Cyclonic Circulation over Marathwada to north Tamil Nadu between 0.9 & 1.5 km above mean sea level.
The upper air Cyclonic Circulation over southeast Bay of Bengal now lies over southwest Bay of Bengal at 3.1 km above mean sea level.
The Cyclonic Circulation over south Tamil Nadu & neighbourhood at 0.9 km above mean sea level has become less marked.
Dry weather prevailed in Coastal Andhra Pradesh &Yanam and Rayalaseema during the last 24 hours.
The highest maximum temperature of 40.6 degrees Celsius was recorded at Kurnool in Rayalaseema on Sunday, the report added.
