Thunderstorms with lightning, gusty winds likely in Telangana over next 5 days: Met

Hyderabad, June 8 (UNI) Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning are likely to occur at isolated places across Telangana during the next five days, according to the Meteorological Centre on Sunday.
In its daily weather report issued here, it also forecast gusty winds with speeds ranging between 30–40 kmph at isolated locations in all districts of the state during the same period.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places, a few places, or isolated locations over the state during the next seven days, it added.
The southwest monsoon has been reported as normal over Telangana.
Rainfall occurred at one or two places in the state during the last 24 hours, the report said.
