Two children die as mother jumps in front of train

Auraiya (UP), Apr 3 (UNI) A mentally disturbed woman along with her two innocent children jumped in front of an express train near the eastern yard of Pata station on Delhi-Howrah railway route in Auraiya district here in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said here on Thursday.
Police sources said that while both the children died, the woman sustained serious injuries and has been admitted to Medical College.
Police sources said that Raghavendra Singh, a resident of Dibiyapur town, runs an electronic shop. "He has three children, including sons Aarush (7), one and a half year old Lalla and daughter Divyanshi (4)," they said.
Police sources said that on Wednesday evening, Raghavendra's wife Neetu Kushwaha (29) left the house with Divyanshi and Lalla and did not return home. "On Wednesday night Neetu jumped in front of Farakka Express near the eastern yard of Pata station, due to which, the woman was seriously injured, while Divyanshi and Lalla died on the spot.
Police sources said that Neetu's father-in-law Man Singh said that she was mentally ill for a year and was undergoing treatment.
