UP: Case lodged after pro-Pakistan raised in Deoria

Deoria (UP), Apr 28 (UNI) A case was lodged against unidentified persons on Monday after a video of people raising pro-Pakistan slogans went viral on social media in Baghauchghat area of Deoria district here in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said here.
Police sources said that some people who were taking out a candle march on April 27 in protest against the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, raised pro-Pakistan slogans. "After the video went viral, police came into action and started investigating the video. On Monday the police also registered a case in this regard," they said.
Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Arvind Kumar Verma said that the videos related to the candle march are being collected and a thorough investigation is being done by the City Magistrate with the help of cyber cell. He said that police have registered a case in this matter and are investigating the matter.
