Deoria (UP), Apr 27 (UNI) Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for 501 development projects worth approximately Rs 676.32 crore during his visit to Deoria district here in Uttar Pradesh on April 29 , official sources said here on Sunday.
Sources said that the event to be at Government College, Padiyapar, Vikas Khand Desai the projects to be launched by the CM include inauguration of 341 works worth Rs 253.64 crore and foundation laying for 160 projects worth over Rs 422.67 crore.
Sources said that the district panchayat will account for the highest number of inaugurated projects, with 215 works worth Rs 22.59 crore. "He will also inaugurate 29 projects under the Public Works Department (PWD), 26 under the Namami Gange and Rural Water Supply Department, 12 under the Irrigation and Water Resources Department and 10 projects of the Nagar Palika Parishad, Gaura Barhaj," they said.
Sources said that the foundation stone ceremony will primarily focus on projects of the PWD. "Yogi will lay the foundation stone for 28 projects under the PWD, 15 projects for the Rural Engineering Department and the Irrigation and Water Resources Department," they said.
Sources said that the foundation stones will be laid for 14 projects of Nagar Panchayat Laar, 13 projects of the District Urban Development Agency and 11 projects each under the AYUSH and Planning Departments.
