'Mahakali' makers release 1st song 'Aigiri Nandini', celebrate power of Goddess Kali

Mumbai, Nov 6 (UNI) The makers of 'Mahakali' have released the film's first song, 'Aigiri Nandini', offering a glimpse into its devotional side through a powerful rendition of the traditional hymn dedicated to Goddess Kali.
This centuries-old devotional hymn to Goddess Kali has been presented in a grand musical presentation. The song powerfully depicts the Goddess's immense power, divine energy, and feminine strength.
Produced under the banner of RKD Studios, the film's music was composed, programmed, and arranged by Smaran Sai. Anila Rajeev, Geetha Madhuri, and Sai Charan lend their voices. The song's unique blend of traditional devotional music with modern musical compositions is evident. Instruments such as the veena, flute, guitar, piano, tavil, and mridangam are used.
According to the film's producers, "Aigiri Nandini," composed by Adi Shankaracharya, has been given a grand cinematic makeover while retaining its original devotional spirit. The song pays musical tribute to the immense power and divine energy of Goddess Kali.
Earlier, the film's teaser received rave reviews from audiences for its powerful war cry and impressive performance by actor Akshaye Khanna. The new song brings out the film's spiritual and devotional side. UNI NST SS
