"Owaisi is a BJP man,": BKU spokesman Rakesh Tikait

Prayagraj, Oct 26 (UNI) The Bharatiya Kisan union (BKU) has targeted AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi during a Kisan Kranti Mahapanchayat in Mundera Mandi here on Monday.

BKU national spokesperson Rakesh Tikait arrived at the panchayat held at driving a tractor.

Tikait said, "Owaisi is a BJP man. The more statements he makes about Muslims, the more other communities will unite behind the BJP. People should not get involved with Owaisi. Wherever the BJP is about to lose elections, it sends him there. The government, which cannot make statements itself, gets Owaisi to make them, so that people's attention is diverted from the real issues."
Tikait said that the Prime Minister of the country had promised to double the income of farmers. Income hasn't increased, but expenses have increased. This government is shameless and dishonest. It is a government of big industrialists. Farmers protested for 13 months. This is the government that allowed its capital to remain under siege.

He also accused the BJP government of vote theft, irregularities in the purchase of farmers' paddy, temple donations theft, and issues related to youth employment.

He said that the government has a whole gang, while the opposition is not fighting the way it should fight agaibst this government. It is the farmers in the country who are fighting the real battle. Expenses and debt have increased, while farmers' incomes have decreased.
Tikait said that smart meters will be opposed across the country. Political parties contesting the 2027 elections, they should clarify in their manifesto whether they will install smart meters or not. In such a situation, we will vote for whoever we have to.

He said that a large number of people are leaving in search of jobs. If their connection to farming and villages weakens, they will have to sell their land. You should launch a movement to save the farmlands. Fair prices for crops are essential for farmers.
