23 yr old girl raped in Haryana under false promise of marriage

Kaithal (Haryana), June 26 (UNI) A 23-year-old girl, a resident of a colony here in Haryana, has been allegedly raped by a man under the false promise of marriage, police said today.
A case has been registered on the complaint of the woman in the city police station and police have started an investigation.
In the complaint filed at the Kaithal city police station, the woman said that she was known to Yogesh alias Chiku for about three years. They both worked together in a private bank and shared their mobile numbers
On February 1, the accused took him to a hotel near RKSD College. There he made physical relations with her after giving an assurance of marriage. However, Yogesh later assured that he would soon marry her, but later backed off.
The woman also claimed that the accused threatened her that if she told anyone about it, he would kill her. Now he had stopped picking up her phone.
City police station SHO Geeta said police have registered a case against the man named in the complaint and started an investigation, UNI XC SSP
