J&K Police files charge sheet against ‘Bhaderwah confession’ page admin

Jammu, Jun, 26 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Police has filled charge sheet against the administrators of the controversial Instagram account of ‘Bhaderwah Confession’ for allegedly defaming many individuals especially youth by sharing their false, fabricated and malicious content about their personal affairs in the Doda district.
Official sources said that following the receipt of a written complaint at Police Station Bhaderwah the instant case was registered against unknown administrators of the named Instagram page for spreading false stories, causing defamation and significant damage to personal lives.
Reports indicated that the page has adversely affected the reputation and relationships of many individuals especially youth of Bhaderwah. Accordingly on the directions of SSP Doda, Sandeep Mehta, FIR under relevant sections was registered and investigation was entrusted to SDPO Bhaderwah.
During the course of investigation, they said that it has been found that the accused persons who are minors have created an Instagram page ‘Bhaderwah confessions’ by using fake ID and shared the false and defamatory contents of various boys and girls and by spreading false and defamatory contents caused widespread distress and harm which resulted in the disruption of peaceful environment of Bhaderwah town as well as whole District Doda.

"After completing the investigation of the case, challan was prepared and produced before the Court of Juvenile Justice Board Doda for Judicial determination," they added.
