3 more accused nabbed after encounter in Ferozepur shootout case

Chandigarh, June 7 (UNI) The Ferozepur district police along with counter intelligence teams have arrested 3 more accused in the Ferozepur shootout case after a brief encounter, police said on Saturday.

DIG Harmanbir Gill told media that Gurjinder alias Godha, Amarjit Singh and Sonu were nabbed near Ratta Khera village Friday night. Police have also recovered four firearms from them.

The number of arrests in the Thursday crime has risen to five.

One person was shot dead in broad daylight and the video of the incident went viral on social media. The shootout, according to the police, was the result of enmity between two groups.
