About 3.18L files pending for decisions in Kerala Secretariat: Rajeev Chandrasekhar

Thiruvananthapuram, July 1 (UNI) Kerala BJP President Rajeev Chandrasekhar has alleged that around 3.18 lakh files are pending for decisions in the Kerala Secretariat alone, reflecting the government's inaction in addressing people’s welfare and the state’s development.
“Lakhs of files gathering dust stand as yet another example of the LDF government's administrative failure. It is shocking that approximately 3.18 lakh files are pending. What is even more disturbing is that over 10% of these have been stuck since the first Pinarayi government,” Rajeev Chandrasekhar said.
“This reflects the LDF government's continued indifference and inaction towards people’s welfare and the state’s development,” he charged.
He further said that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s oft-quoted statement - ‘There is a life behind every file’ - has now been exposed as a deceptive slogan that has misled the people of Kerala all along.
“This sorry state of affairs must change - and it can change. Kerala’s problem isn’t merely the red tape around the files; it is the ‘red flag’ regime itself that has strangled our progress. The time has come for the people of the state to put an end to this era of stagnation and deception,” he asserted.
