Air India announces network-wide promotional sale ahead of holiday season

Hyderabad, May 23 (UNI) Air India has rolled out a network-wide promotional sale, offering unmatched all-inclusive fares across Air India’s extensive domestic and international route network.
During the promotional sale, one-way fares on domestic routes start from Rs 1,199, and round-trip fares on international routes start from Rs 11,969, the airline said in a release on Friday.
The network-wide sale is open until 2359 hours of May 25, with the last 24 hours of the sale being exclusively available on Air India’s website and mobile app.
The sale fares are available for travel until September 30, 2025 to most destinations, with extended validity of up to December 10 on select long-haul routes to North America, Europe (including UK), and Australia.
Bookings under the sale are available at international points of sale, with fares denominated in respective local currencies.
Travellers booking their tickets on Air India’s website (airindia.com) and mobile app will enjoy zero convenience fees during the sale period.
Additionally, travellers can save up to Rs 3,000 per person using promo code FLYAI, as well as up to ₹2,500 off per passenger on UPI or Net Banking payments by applying promo codes UPIPROMO and NBPROMO, respectively.

AP: Three-year-old girl allegedly raped, murdered

Kadapa, May 23 (UNI) In a shocking incident, a three-year-old girl was allegedly raped and murdered by a man at M. Kambaladinne village of Mylavaram mandal on Friday.Police said that a couple, belonging to Amruthnagar near Proddatur, went to Kambaladinne village to attend a marriage of their relative. The deceased girl went out of the function hall to play with other girls. Sometime later the parents found her daughter was missing.The parents, along with their relatives, searched all over the area and found the body behind thorny bushes. The police registered a case and shifted the body to the GGH for postmortem. It is learnt that the villagers apprehended the rape accused and handed over the police.Poignant scenes were witnessed at the village with grieving parents and relatives inconsolably.
