Air Marshal Pradeep Bapat (Rtd) appointed Director of MESCO

Pune, June 20 (UNI) Air Marshal Pradeep Bapat PVSM, VSM (Rtd), President of Akhil Bharatiya Poorva Sainik Seva Parishad, Maharashtra & Goa, has been appointed as Director of Maharashtra Ex-Servicemen Corporation Ltd (MESCO) by the Governor of Maharashtra.

MESCO, a Government of Maharashtra undertaking, was established on January 18, 2002.
It plays a crucial role in the rehabilitation and welfare of ex-servicemen by providing them meaningful employment opportunities in various sectors.
The appointment of Air Marshal Pradeep Bapat (RTD) is expected to further strengthen MESCO’s vision and operational effectiveness, with a renewed focus on empowering veterans and integrating them into the mainstream workforce, said a release today.

This prestigious appointment reflects the State Government’s continued commitment towards the welfare of ex-servicemen and recognition of their valuable contribution to national security and development.
Air Marshal Pradeep Bapat (RTD )was earlier honoured with Param Vishistha Seva Medal on January 26, 2020 and Vishistha Seva Medal on January 26, 2014 by the President of India. He was also felicitated with Madhya Pradesh Ratna Alankar award on April 26, 2022, the release added.

Mumbai police constable body found on skywalk near railway station
