Alliance govt model of welfare & development: says Vizag MP Sribharat at GVMC polls campaigns

Visakhapatnam, Oct 22 (UNI) Visakhapatnam MP M. Sribharat on Thursday conducted an extensive campaign across Wards 55 and 56 of the Visakhapatnam North Assembly segment, pitching for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) candidates in the upcoming Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) elections.
Appealing to the electorate for a decisive mandate, Sribharat asserted that the coalition government in Andhra Pradesh has set a benchmark in balancing aggressive infrastructure development with robust public welfare delivery.
The parliamentarian kicked off his campaign trail from Kapparada in Ward 56, joining local BJP MLA P. Vishnu Kumar Raju in an open-top vehicle roadshow to canvass for alliance candidate Kolla Bathula Prasoon.
Addressing residents during the rally, the leaders urged voters to back the NDA to ensure seamless civic administration.
Later in Ward 55, Sribharat joined TDP nominee Pukkalla Lavanya for door-to-door campaigning across Sanjeevayya Colony and Kailasapuram.
Interacting with local residents, he highlighted key civic development works and welfare initiatives rolled out by the state government.
"The alliance government has set an example in welfare-oriented governance and infrastructure augmentation. A decisive presence of the NDA in the GVMC council will accelerate the growth trajectory of Visakhapatnam and ensure basic amenities reach every household without delay," the MP said.
Sribharat called upon NDA cadres to mount a coordinated campaign to secure the election of Dr. Mukka Sravani, the alliance's mayoral candidate, along with Pukkalla Lavanya (Ward 55) and Kolla Bathula Prasoon (Ward 56).
