Andhra Cricket Assn to construct sports ground in every constituency: ACA president

Kurnool, May 24 (UNI) Vijayawada MP and Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) president Keshineni Shivanath has highlighted the commitment of the ACA to construct a sports ground in every constituency.

The MP, accompanied by Minister TG Bharath, Kurnool MP B Nagaranu and Collector P Ranjit Basha, inspected the cricket ground at Munagalapadu village near here on Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion, MP and ACA President Shivanath said that in the coming days, Andhra Pradesh would become a hub for sports under the leadership of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.

Andhra Cricket Association is working towards developing and making available grounds in every constituency to explore the talent of the State's sportspersons, Sivanath revealed.

MP Kesineni Shivnath said that with the cooperation of Minister TG Bharat and Kurnool MP Bastipati Nagaraju, the cricket ground in Munagala Padu would be developed and made available soon.

“If this cricket ground is developed, Kurnool will acquire a new art. Due to lack of infrastructure, the youth are not focusing on sports and the goal of the NDA coalition government is to encourage the youth towards sports,” the ACA president reiterated.

Andhra Cricket Association Treasurer Dandamudi Srinivas, Kurnool District Cricket Association President Govinda Reddy and Kurnool District Cricket Association Secretary Ramesh were among those who accompanied the ACA President.
