AP: 104 service employees demand 2 months wage arrears

Kakinada, June 15 (UNI) The Kakinada district 104 emergency service employees union at its general body meeting held at the CITU office here on Sunday demanded the government to arrange payment of two months wage arrears from the Aurobindo company management.
In a resolution, the union has further demanded payment of earned leaves dues, gratuity from Aurobindo.
The Bhavya Health services private limited management, which is now running the 104 emergency services, should be instructed to pay the wages on the first of every month.
The vacancies in 104 emergency service vehicles should be filled up by transfers based on seniority and the remaining be filled up by new appointments.
Purchase new vehicles or repair the old vehicles as most of the vehicles are in a bad shape, the resolution added.
Union district president K Srikanth chaired the meeting.
State union organizing secretary Venkatarao, who was the chief guest, asked the Bhavya Health services management to organize employees' grievance meetings in all the districts and solve their problems.
He said conducting tests on TB patients in the 104 service vehicles being a health hazard as such should be dispensed with.
