AP: Maxivision super speciality eye hospital inaugurated

Vijayawada, Sep 27 (UNI) Maxivision Super Speciality Eye Hospitals, one of India’s leading eye care networks with 90 facilities across the country, inaugurated its second hospital at Poranki on Sunday.
Andhra Pradesh Minister for Mines Kollu Ravindra inaugurated the hospital. The hospital will offer a comprehensive range of eye care services, catering to conditions such as cataract, glaucoma, retina-related disorders, refractive surgery, paediatric eye care, and other vision-related concerns.
Patients will have access to consultations, diagnostic investigations, and surgical procedures across various ophthalmic specialties, supported by experienced clinical teams and modern technology.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. GSK Velu, Chairman, Maxivision Super Speciality Eye Hospitals, said: “Maxivision is currently at a growth path, and Vijayawada has been an important region for us. With the opening of our second hospital here, we can serve a larger number of patients in the region, closer to their homes. Our aim is to continue providing accessible quality eye care services through experienced doctors, best in class technology, and a strong clinical approach.”
Dr. KP Reddy, Chief Mentor of Maxivision Super Speciality Eye Hospitals said: “Maxivision Vijayawada was opened in 2003 with the blessings of the people of Andhra Pradesh and the ophthalmic community, and we were the first brand to introduce Lasik in Andhra Pradesh. Dr. A Ramakrishna, Medical Officer, Maxivision Super Speciality Eye Hospitals Vijayawada, said that advanced technologies are available at the hospital to cure eye problems. MLA Gadde Ram Mohan Rao also participated in the inauguration programme.
