AP: Minister, MP, MLAs participate in Tiranga rally

Rajahmundry, May 17 (UNI) A huge Tiranga rally was taken up here on Saturday in which Minister for Tourism Kandula Durgesh, MP Daggubati Purandeswari and MLAs including Adireddy participated.

Braving the rain, the leaders including MLC Somu Veerraju, Joint Collector S Chinna Ramudu, MLAs Adireddy Srinivas, MLA Nallamilli Ramakrishna Reddy, Battula Balaramakrishna, MLA Muppidi Venkateswara Rao, Maddipati Venkataraju and RUD Chairman Boddu Venkataramana Chowdhury took part in the rally holding national flags.

The rally was taken out expressing solidarity and support to the Indian armed forces for the success of Operation Sindoor. The leaders paid rich tributes to martyr Murali Naik. The tiranga rally began at Pushkar ghat and went via Kotagummam centre, main road and finally reached the Kotipalli bus stand.
Minister Kandula Durgesh recalled the Pahalgam massacre by terrorists and underlined the need for extending solidarity and support with the Indian armed forces. He lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the daring Operation Sindoor to avenge the Pahalgam carnage.
MP Purandeswari reiterated that India has adopted zero tolerance on terrorism. She recalled the terror attacks in Mumbai and in Hyderabad. She made it clear that India would retaliate to such an attack now. The tiranga rally was taken out to extend support to the Indian army, she revealed. MLA Adireddy Srinivas also spoke.
