AP: SEIL Energy receives CII national award for excellence in energy management

Nellore, Sep 19 (UNI) SEIL Energy India Limited, one of the largest independent power producers (IPP) in India, today announced that its Project - 1 has been honoured with the prestigious “Energy Efficient Unit” Award at the CII 27th National Award for Excellence in Energy Management 2026, held in Hyderabad.

The recognition underscores SEIL Energy’s commitment to energy efficiency, operational excellence and sustainable power generation. It reflects the organisation’s continued efforts to optimise energy performance, strengthen operational efficiency and advance responsible energy management across its power generation operations. Representing SEIL Energy India Limited, BV Srinivas, Head – OS & PMD; Ravindra Joshi, DGM; and Thirumurugan, Senior Manager, received the award.

On this occasion, Janmejaya Mahapatra, CEO - SEIL Energy India Limited, said: “We are honoured to receive the prestigious ‘Energy Efficient Unit’ recognition at the CII 27th National Award for Excellence in Energy Management 2026. AP: ED arrests Sukriti Foods promoter in TTD ghee adulteration case

Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh), Sept 19 (UNI) The Directorate of Enforcement Directorate (ED), Hyderabad Zonal office, probing alleged money laundering linked to the Tirumala laddu ghee adulteration case, has arrested Delhi-based businessman and Sukriti Foods Pvt Ltd promoter Kailash Chand Mangla, alleging his involvement in the manufacture and supply of adulterated ghee worth around Rs 96 crore to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD).
