Arunachal Guv extends Durga Puja, Dussehra greetings

Itanagar, Oct 18 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt Gen (Retd) KT Parnaik has extended warm greetings and best wishes to the people of the State on the auspicious occasions of Durga Puja and Dussehra.
In his message, the Governor said Durga Puja and Dussehra embody the timeless message of the triumph of good over evil, righteousness over injustice and truth over falsehood.
He said Goddess Durga’s victory over Mahishasura symbolises the power of Shakti, courage and determination, while Lord Rama’s victory over Ravana reaffirms that evil, however powerful, cannot ultimately prevail over righteousness.
The Governor said these festivals provide an opportunity to reflect on the values that guide human life and encourage people to stand firmly against injustice, intolerance, violence and discrimination while upholding compassion, dignity, honesty and mutual respect.
He expressed hope that the triumph of good would inspire people to follow the path of righteousness and contribute wholeheartedly to the progress and prosperity of Arunachal Pradesh and the nation.
