AT calls off 10-day strike in Manipur

Imphal, June 10 (UNI) The Arambai Tenggol (T) has called off a 10-day bandh with immediate effect from Tuesday. Robin Mangang, PRO of AT addressing the media on Tuesday said other forms of democratic movements, will continue to protest the arrest of Kanan, an AT leader.

Arambai had announced a 10-day bandh in Manipur from Sunday to protest against the arrest of Kanan and four others by Central agencies on Saturday.

To control the situation, the Manipur government had banned the internet for five days and imposed an indefinite curfew.
