CEA V Anantha Nageswaran to deliver talk on Global Economic Trends

Thiruvananthapuram, June 17 (UNI) Chief Economic Advisor (CEA) to the Government of India, Dr. V. Anantha Nageswaran, will deliver a talk on 'Global Economic Trends: India's Challenges and Prospects' at Kerala Raj Bhavan on Tuesday.
Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar will preside over the function. Anantha Nageswaran was the co-founder of the Aavishkaar India Micro Venture Capital fund, a pioneer in impact investing, and the Takshashila Institute, a think tank for research and education in public policy.
Dr Nageswaran is also a well-known writer, author, teacher and consultant. He has taught at several business schools and institutes of management in India and in Singapore and has published extensively.
He was the Dean of the IFMR Graduate School of Business and a distinguished Visiting Professor of Economics at Krea University. He has also been a part-time member of the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister of India from 2019 to 2021.
He holds a postgraduate diploma in management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and a doctoral degree from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.
On February 20, 2025, the tenure of CEA V. Anantha Nageswaran was extended for two years till March 2027.
