Patna, May 24 (UNI) Bihar State Vigilance Bureau on Saturday arrested Circle Inspector Ajay Mandal from Madhubani and Computer operator from Sasaram in two separate operations while they were accepting bribe.

Official sources said here that on the basis of complaint lodged with Bureau by one Indrajit Kumar,

a trap was laid leading to arrest of Circle Inspector Ajay Kumar Mandal while he was accepting Rs three lakhs as bribe from complainant Indrajit Kumar at Jainagar in Madhubani district for disposal

of a case relating to mutation.

Trap was led by DSP Sujeet Kumar Sagar who executed the operation meticulously, sources added.

In another operation, Computer operator Avkash Kumar Das, posted in Circle Office of Sasaram in Rohtas district was arrested while accepting bribe of Rs 1.10 lakh from complainant Pankaj Kumar

for cancellation of mutation. Trap team was headed by DSP Amrendra Prasad Vidyarthi.

Ajay Mandal would be produced before special vigilance court in Muzaffarpur while Avkash Kumar would be produced before special vigilance court in Patna after their thorough interrogation.
