CM Khemchand condoles deaths of Senior Information Officers in Mizoram's road accident

Imphal, Oct 2 (UNI) Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh has expressed condolences over the deaths of two senior Information Service officers from Manipur who died in a road accident in Mizoram yesterday.
The deceased have been identified as Dr Engam Pame, IIS, Additional Director General, Press Information Bureau (PIB) and Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Imphal Regional Office, and Nampibou Marinmai, IIS, Director (News), Doordarshan Aizawl.
Both officers were residents of Tamenglong district, Manipur.
In a condolence message, the Chief Minister described their deaths as untimely and tragic and extended his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families. He prayed for strength and courage for the families to bear the loss.
Meanwhile, officers and staff of PIB Imphal, Akashvani Imphal and CBC Regional Office, Imphal assembled to pay their respects to Dr Engam Pame.
The officials remembered Pame for his distinguished service, leadership and guidance during his tenure and expressed deep condolences over his untimely demise.
The deaths have been mourned by colleagues and the information and broadcasting fraternity in Manipur. UNI NS SAS
