Defeat in Bihar is certain for Congress: Nadda hits out at Rahul Gandhi

Bengaluru, June 7 (UNI) BJP President and Union Minister JP Nadda has hit out at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for alleging "match-fixing" in last year's Maharashtra polls, and attributed it to Gandhi's "sadness and desperation of losing election after election".
During his visit to Bengaluru today, Nadda took to X to accuse Rahul Gandhi of using his latest article alleging "match-fixing" in the Maharashtra polls, as a deliberate attempt to distract from the Congress party’s repeated failures by fabricating false narratives and maligning constitutional institutions without any supporting evidence.
"Rahul Gandhi’s latest article is a clear attempt to divert attention from the Congress party’s failures by concocting false narratives and smearing constitutional bodies without any evidence," he said.
He added, "Instead of introspecting after losing election after election, Rahul Gandhi chooses to blame others and spreads lies. This pattern of behaviour is detrimental to the spirit of democracy."
Nadda highlighted a detailed rebuttal by exposing Rahul Gandhi's claims about "match-fixing" and accused Gandhi of deliberately ignoring legal rulings and constitutional realities to falsely allege subversion of democracy.
"Step one: Congress faces repeated electoral defeats due to poor leadership. Step two: Rahul Gandhi refuses to learn from these defeats and instead spins bizarre conspiracy theories and cries rigging. Step three: He defames institutions with zero proof. Step four: He hopes for headlines over facts," Nadda said, summarising Gandhi’s approach.
Taking a swipe ag the Congress leader, he said Rahul Gandhi is resorting to all this "because a defeat in Bihar is certain", referring to the upcoming Bihar polls this year.
"Democracy does not need drama; it needs truth and accountability. The people of India will see through these manufactured stories," Nadda stated.
The Congress has not yet issued a response to these allegations.
